کتاب مهندسی سیستم انتقال توان الکتریکی - تحلیل و طراحی، مرحوم توران گونن (متوفی در سال 2014) به همت دکتر Yunhe Hou و تحت حمایت انتشارات تایلور اند فرانسیس (CRC Press) در سال 2024 میلادی به ویرایش چهارم رسیده و در 8 فصل و 6 پیوست منتشر شده است.فصل اول : برنامه ریزی سیستم انتقالفصل دوم : تجهیزات و ساختارهای خط انتقالفصل سوم : سیستم انتقال جریان متناوب قابل انعطاف (FACTS) و مفاهیم دیگرفصل چهارم : انتقال توان هواییفصل پنجم : انتقال توان جریان مستقیمفصل ششم : انتقال توان کابلی(زیرزمینی) و خطوط انتقال عایق شده با گازفصل هفتم : تجهیزات حفاظتی و حفاظت سیستم انتقالفصل هشتم : سیستم های انرژی تجدید پذیرDr. Turan Gonen (September 2, 1941 - February 24, 2014) was professor of electrical engineering and director of the Electrical Power Educational Institute at Califoia State University, Sacramento. Previously, Dr. Gonen was professor of electrical engineering and director of the Energy Systems and Resources Program at the University of Missouri–Columbia. Professor Gonen also held teaching positions at the University of Missouri–Rolla, the University of Oklahoma, Iowa State University, Florida Inteational University, and Ankara Technical College. He has taught electrical machines and electric power engineering for over thirty-nine years. Dr. Gonen holds a BS and MS in electrical engineering from Istanbul Technical College (1964 and 1966, respectively), and a PhD in electrical engineering from Iowa State University (1975).
